The cottage invites you in through the beautiful doorway where you meet its gorgeous interior, inspired by the nature surrounding it. The interior combines contemporary country style with classic accents to create a cosy space.
The sitting room design is centred around Angie Lewin’s ‘Ramsons and Campion’ print which sits above the fireplace. The print reflects the delicate woodland flowers which bloom around the estate and Lewin’s chosen colour palette inspires the décor throughout the rest of the cottage.
The soft pink and blues in the sitting room create a calming interior with warm touches of linen and sisal rugs that contrasts beautifully with the natural slate flooring. On a cold, frosty winter’s evening, the wood-burning stove and underfloor heating make it difficult to leave as you settle down to watch a good film and enjoy an after-dinner tipple.
The bedroom has a restful ambience allowing the eye to be drawn to the bold colours of the ‘Deer Park’ fabric headboard designed by Andrew Davidson for Lewis & Wood. The headboard above the king-size bed is another nod to the nature which surrounds the lodge.
The cottage has everything you need for a self-catering getaway including a fully equipped kitchen. Prepare a delicious dinner while taking in the charming garden views.
