The Magic of Milne Graden

Spring brings an awakening at Milne Graden. Bluebells line the riverbanks and the sounds of nature take to the air. We have been busy through the winter months, refreshing Hamilton House, ready to welcome our guests.

We have brought the outside in. Wander through the rooms of Hamilton House and you’ll be greeted by wildlife. Squirrels and sunflowers, pheasants and harvest hares, printed in beautiful soft country-style colours by award winning artist and designer Mark Hearld adorn the wallpapers. In the bedrooms, the theme continues with fabrics from the design houses of St. Jude’s, Cabbages & Roses and the Silk Company. On the walls hang artworks by Angie Lewin, Emily Sutton and local artist Sue Fenlon from Alnmouth.

Outside, walk along the river (dogs are most welcome at Milne Graden) or take to the water for a spot of fly fishing.

What better way to unwind and relax.
