Stepping inside, the Tweedside interiors feel like a breath of fresh sea air. Taking inspiration from the local Berwickshire coastline, calming blues and limed wood bring a subtle coastal accent throughout. These are gently complimented by carefully chosen artwork depicting life at the water’s edge.
Ever-changing views of the River Tweed greet you as you move through the cottage. A double aspect window in the lounge provides the prefect place for wildlife watching – look out for our resident otters – and in the bathroom fitted with a bath and separate shower – prepare for a show stopping vista quite like no other.
Tweedside has recently been refurbished with families in mind. The open plan living dining area make it easy to keep an eye on little ones whilst preparing a meal, and the relaxed dining area is perfect for gathering everyone together.
Sumptuous herringbone fabrics bring added warmth and the generous Harris Tweed sofa is ideal for sinking into while unwinding by the open fire. Our classic checked fabric design flows throughout with floral additions. Two double bedrooms with the added benefit of one super-king zip’n link/twin option helps to give our guests a little more choice.
Tweedside now benefits from a fully enclosed garden at the rear – making it ‘More Than” dog friendly and bringing extra peace of mind for dog owners or those staying with younger children. Boasting uninterrupted views of the river, the garden at Tweedside also makes for unmissable outdoor dining opportunities.
